Jambo mambo? POA POA!!

After hiking to Katima Mulilo (on the boarder of Namibia and Zambia), taking two taxis to get to Livingston, two buses to get to Kapiri Mposhi, one train to Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), and finally, one ferry my travel group arrived in the beautiful Zanzibar 5 days later.  We got drenched in the mist from Victoria Falls (one of the 7 wonders of the world), ate our way through the open markets of Dar es Salaam, snorkeled around a coral reef in the Indian Ocean, explored the labyrinth of Stone Town, discovered huge prehistoric looking tortoises, and lounged on the beautiful white beaches of Nungwi.  It was an adventure of a lifetime.

It’s good to be out in the world…
